Franklin Watson came to the Northeast Church of Christ in Wilmington, Delaware, from the Newark Church of Christ, to fill the position of part-time minister in 1992. In 2006 Brother Watson retired from New Castle County Government, after 37½ years of civil service; and a short while later he assumed the mantle of full-time minister here at the Northeast Church of Christ, where he tirelessly serves the congregation. He continues to teach and preach God’s Word from the pulpit, and throughout the community.

Franklin was married forty years to the late Florence Watson and has two children, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
